This was a strenuous* hike uphill to see an arch in Joshua Tree National Park.  It was well worth the hike.  It is the only arch in this national park.  (*Strenuous to me is anything that isn't flat ground.)

 

I am curious as to how those rocks got on top of that giant rock.

 

This is a very pretty arch.

 

Had I not been afraid of a snake being in there, I would have crawled under this rock for some shade!
